Post Mortem Memories from Waking Life

-> Sitting at Oasis, for the Breakfast with the Greek Guy!

This Wednesday was full of challenges, started out in Porto, going out from my home with a backpack overloaded with clothes and unecessary things. Sooooo... my faithful backpack teared apart in 4 different places in the first train, making me carry my backpack + tent in a really unconfortable way, but luckily everything was around 15kg, so my muscles were also almost tearing apart like my now not that faithful backpack.

Arriving in Entroncamento, I could already feel the hippie vibes in the wind, multiple people also prepared and going to Waking Life, backpacks, weird trinkets, bags, cool hair colors, cool clothes, at this point I was already getting excited for whatever was coming next.

Got the train from Entroncamento to Crato. Arriving in Crato, I could feel the good vibes of people already hiking or hitching rides. But I was expecting the shuttle bus anyway. When the bus arrived I payed 3€ for the poor bus driver ( you gonna understand why later ), sat in my seat with my now all destroyed backpack. And was happily going to Waking Life, the drive should last for 15min... at least in my head. That's when the police from portugal seized our bus to search for drugs... and boy this took SO LONG, almost 3h waiting for the police to open every backpack, bag, tent, whatever... People started going out and buying beers to wait the police to search for stuff... but in the end nothing happened, that's were I first met a girl from UK that works as a travel agent.

Arriving in the camp site it was a little bit cold and grizzling, I setup my tent, and there is a protective cape that goes on top of the tent, it protects the tent from the rain, but apparently if you put it backwards instead of protecting you from the rain it captures the rain, that's exactly what I did. But I didn't notice until it was to late... Got my umbrella and start doing activities at J'Apuros. When I went back a few hours latter my tent was a nice and cold puddle =)

1 AM and I was there trying to dry everything with my Decatlhon towel. And thinking, WTF I'm doing here? Everything was wet, EVERYTHING was wet. Then I fixed the roof of my tent and went to sleep in my wet sleeping bag. At some point it gets comfy, believe me.

So this wednesday I got fucked.
